WHAT WE DO:
We are dedicated to advancing the ability of all patrons,
both member and public alike, and in their search for their family history.
We actively strive to uncover documents and nearly-forgotten knowledge,
from by-gone days about the Saginaw Valley area and the families that helped to make it grow.
We encourage the free exchange of photos and stories from anyone with an interest in their preservation.
From Shared Knowledge Comes Preserved History!
SHARE AND PRESERVE, AND HELP KEEP OUR COMBINED HISTORY ALIVE!!
We have a new P.O. Box at the Saginaw Post Office!!!
The new address is
The Saginaw Genealogical Society
PO Box 6584
Saginaw, MI 48608-6584
The change was implemented in order to place the new mail-box closer to board members, in an effort to receive mailings in a more timely fashion, as the old P.O. Box was downtown.
THE TIMBER TOWN LOG HAS GONE GREEN!!!
As of the MAY 2016 Issue
THE QUARTERLY NEWSLETTER WILL BE SENT TO ALL MEMBERS THRU EMAIL
AND WE WILL NO LONGER MAIL THEM OUT UNLESS PAID FOR WITH
ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP FEE (extra $5)
Courtesy E-mailings will still go out to Historical Societies and Libraries.
We regret that we cannot send out SNAILmailings without the $5.00 fee.
